My name is Danielle T. Montalto. I am a New York native, who has resided within four of the five boroughs.
As a young child, my father worked for the Teamsters Union, Local 282 and my mother worked as a paralegal. On days off from school I would accompany my mother to work and was exposed to the many facets of litigation. As a result of my constant need for debate, my parents knew at a young age that I would be an attorney.
After attending Staten Island Technical High School, I accepted a full scholarship to St. Francis College, in Brooklyn Heights where I studied Political Science and History. There I was a member of the St. Thomas Pre-Law Society, the History and Political Science Club and the Moot Court. I graduated Magna cum Laude in 2007.
In 2008 I enrolled as a full-time law student at New York Law School. During my three years in attendance I held numerous internships, allowing me an understanding of various fields of law, and the ability to better understand how to properly utilize my law degree. Immediately following graduation I was hired by the Law Office of Meier, Franzino & Scher, LLP where I practiced matrimonial and family law, as well as commercial litigation. After two years with the firm, I joined the Law Office of Zelenitz, Shapiro & D’Agostino, P.C. as a litigation associate.
